Magicity will be my next series of paintings along with a story book, inspired by New Orleans, with a universal message that everyone can relate to.

The idea of Magicity started out as a picture book, transformed into a children’s book/novel, then finally into a culmination of all. Once I started writing, I wanted the story of my characters Frankie, Pricilla, and Letrice  and there quest to save New Orleans, to be created in more than a painting medium.

I decided to develop the narrative aspects of my paintings and focus on a written story equally. The process has allowed me to explore other creative realms, which has been exciting and personally rewarding. Over the years, people would often ask me the meaning of my paintings. Although I would give them an answer, I wanted the meaning to be explained more in-depth. I've always wanted the opportunity to explain the entire meaning of my artwork. I don’t mind interpretation, but I would also like people to know what my work is about in my words.
                                                          
I consider this series  mixed media of two other creative genres. Visual Arts and Literary Arts; I intend on expanding “it” to other creative media, such as a stage play, song, and film.
